Overwrite Google Sheet on export creates a duplicate sheet every run

Hi All,

I didn’t see anything about this in documentation, so I don’t know if it’s expected behavior, but when I run a flow that is meant to overwrite all the rows in a Google Sheets table with updated data, instead of sending it to the selected sheet, it creates a new sheet in my drive with date and time appended to the filename.

This then breaks the functionality of a second flow I have set up to pull information from the sheet, since the document and its name are different on every run of the first flow.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the community! In the sidebar, there should be dropdown options to select the file, sheet, and the export rule.

Is your File dropdown set to Create New File by chance?
