Recent step updates!

Hey all!

Here are some recent updates to steps to try and make them easier to use and understand, especially for those new to Parabola.

Recent changes

Count by group step, Average by group step, and Sum by group step

• Better wording in the settings
• Can edit the name of the column that the Count by group step creates
• Sum and Average steps now use the name of the column they are operating on, instead of modifying the name
• Sum and Average steps can now better handle formatted numbers and currencies

Insert If/Else column step

• This step can now handle formatted numbers, currencies, and dates when making comparisons.

Format numbers step

• Updating how the settings look to make it less confusing
• Can now format any number of columns in any number of ways
• Added support for many more currencies
• Can now be used to remove formatting that a number may have (turn $4,000 into 4000)
• Added support for accounting formats
• Can be used to round numbers by specifying the number of decimal places to round to (if you use a negative number, it goes into the whole number ranges)

Filter rows step

• Renamed - used to be called “Remove rows”
• This step can now handle formatted numbers, currencies, and dates when making comparisons.

Select columns step

• Renamed - used to be called “Remove columns”
• Has a better default state when you first add it.
