[Resolved] AWS Outage: Parabola impacted with downgraded performance

Hi everyone,

Our cloud service provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), is currently experiencing an outage (which started around 11am PST today).

Unfortunately, this outage has impacted many of our systems and you are likely experiencing downgraded performance on our site at this time.

Our engineering team is actively monitoring and doing what we can to make sure we’re back up and running as soon as AWS is able to resolve this issue.

I’ll be sure to keep this thread updated with any updates as they become available – AWS has not yet provided an ETA for the fix. If you’d like us to personally email you with any updates, please send us a note at help@parabola.io.

During this time, you can expect the following for your scheduled and triggered flows:

Scheduled flows are triggered and run on time, though will likely produce a generic error message, “Your flow failed. Please try running again.” These flows will be re-run at their next scheduled run time.

Triggered Flows (kicked off by either a webhook or “Pull from email attachment” step) will likely not run at this time. It will resume running as soon as AWS has resolved the issue, but it is possible that we would have missed some triggers during this outage.

Appreciate your understanding!

AWS is back online and everything seems to be good to go in Parabola!

Let us know if you have any further issues.
