Until today, you’ve had to use three different steps to effectively manage columns: Select columns, Rename columns, and Reorder columns. We decided to combine those into one, super powerful step: Edit columns! Now, from this single step, you can:
- Keep or remove columns
- Guarantee that selected columns are kept even if the input source removes them
- Change the names of your columns
- Update the order of your columns
(All existing usage of the original steps – Select columns, Rename columns, or Reorder columns – will continue to work. Going forward, you should use the new Edit columns step.)
