When using the “Add date & time” function, what do you get when you offset by -1 months and the current day is Mar 31, 2024?

Since Feb 2024 had 29 days, do you get “Feb 29”, or do you get something like “Feb 31”, “Mar 2”, etc?

Similarly, when the year rolls over to “Jan 05, 2025”, do you get “Dec 05, 2024” or “Dec 05, _ **2025** _”?

Today is January 6. I am updating some flows that I run to collect sales data.

Hopefully these screenshots will answer your question.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for writing in! To answer, we’ll take the last day of February (this year, 28 days in Feb) so March 31 offset by 1 month goes to 2/28.

For Jan 05 offset, we subtract a month to the previous year. Hope these make sense!
