# Show image from urls in Webflow CMS

I am trying to show image urls in Webflow CMS, can’t seem to make it work. Any help would be appreciated…

Hey @KI,

In order for an image URL to display an image, it will need to be uploaded as an asset into Webflow first. Webflow’s CMS image field can then reference any URLs and insert them into an image field.

If you find another workaround or tool to automatically upload that file to the CMS and then insert it into an image field, please let us know!
