# SendGrid Email Preview / Send Test Email

1. What is your feature/integration request?  
When using SendGrid as your [final destination](https://gph.is/1huAw6u), give the user the ability to either 1. Preview the html with merge tags or 2. Send a single test email to a email address given by the user.

2. What problem would this feature/integration solve?  
This would allow the user to test/view the email (with real data from parabolas merge tags) before sending to potential thousands of recipients.

3. How do you solve/workaround this problem today?  
Right now I add myself to the list, create a temporary row filter to make me the only recipient, then burn multiple credits to see the final result.

Thank you for chiming in on this thread! We haven’t made any updates to this yet.

The best way to do this is to copy and paste the HTML directly into SendGrid to preview the template. Alternatively, you can use the method Jacob mentioned.
