# Changes to how Shopify products are accessed in Parabola

Shopify is making a series of updates to their API, and on January 30, 2025, Parabola will be updated to reflect these changes. This will will cause some step settings and columns to longer be available in the “Pull from Shopify” source step.

Here are the main changes:

1. Some columns and configuration settings will no longer be supported
2. Product Image IDs are now replaced with Shopify’s Media IDs
3. Some setting configurations will be completely deprecated

**The following is the list of deprecated columns, organized by the Pull from Shopify step configuration:**

### Products with variants

- Variants: Old Inventory Quantity
- Variants: Fulfillment Service
- Variants: Grams
- Variants: Inventory Management
- Variant Image: Variant Ids
- Product: Published Scope
- Product Main Image: Variant Ids
- Variant Image: Created At
- Variant Image: Position
- Variant Image: Updated At

### Orders with line items with product variants

- Line Items: Variant: Inventory Management
- Line Items: Variant: Grams
- Line Items: Variant: Old Inventory Quantity

### Product inventory with product information

- Product: Published Scope
- Product: Variants: Fulfillment Service
- Product: Variants: Inventory Management
- Product: Variants: Grams
- Product: Variants: Old Inventory Quantity
- Product: Variants: Requires Shipping
- Product: Images
- Product: Image: Position

### Product image IDs

Product image IDs have been updated by Shopify to “Media” IDs. The URLs for images will continue to work, but the image IDs will be a different numeric value, consistent across all of Shopify. These IDs are found in the following columns:

- Product Main Image: Id
- Images: Id
- Product: Image: Id
- Product: Image: Admin Graphql Api Id

### Removed settings configurations

The following settings configurations are no longer available. If you have a Flow using these settings, please update to the newest version of the Pull from Shopify step. These settings configurations changes only affect the first version of the Pull from Shopify step, which is not commonly used.
